Breastfeeding Friendly Initiative We feel that anything that stops a mother breastfeeding comfortably needs addressing so we have launched the Breastfeeding Friendly Initiative. Regardless of how unlikely a negative reaction is, fear of this stops many mothers feeding in public, making their breastfeeding experience more difficult to manage and ultimately in many cases, making it shorter than they would have liked. Participating businesses will display a Friends of Breastfeeding sticker in their window and all will be listed on our website. If a business is not displaying a sticker, this may just mean that we haven’t gotten to them yet so you should still feel free to feed there.
