Friends of Breastfeeding Membership Form

By completing the form in the link above and sending the relevant fee you will become an associate member. You will receive confirmation of receipt by email. Your access to the online discussion group will be granted within 7 working days after we receive your form and payment.

Who can join?

The whole concept of ‘Friends’ of Breastfeeding is that we are not exclusively a group of breastfeeding mothers. We welcome anyone who recognises the importance of breastfeeding to join. You don’t have to breastfeed or even know anyone who does to be a ‘Friend’. You may well be part of the important support system that new mothers need, as subtle comments from friends and family members can make all the difference in a mother’s breastfeeding journey. Even in this capacity, we would love for you to be part of ‘Friends of Breastfeeding’.

What am I signing up for?

That is entirely up to you! By being a member you are simply stating your support for breastfeeding, it doesn’t have to mean anything more than that if you don’t want. However, if you have some time on your hands and would like to participate more actively in the organisation, we are always very happy to have more people to share the workload! Our main areas of work right now come under the two big headings of PR and Fundraising. Once you are signed up as a member, just pop an email to friendsofbreastfeeding@yahoo.ie letting us know which area you are interested in and we will reply with details of how you can get involved. Lots of our meetings are held online which makes it easier to attend. Even if you do sign up to be involved in a particular area, it is up to you just how much or little you get involved. Most of us are parents at the end of the day and there are some things that will always come ahead of everything else. Even if you agree to do something and then find it is too much for you to deal with, we are all here to help each other out.
